Review

I've tried out a couple of mascaras, and I thought I'd share my thoughts with you

Arranged in the order of the picture, and not preference.
  1. Maybeline's green DEFINE-A-LASH: a bit wet for my short, straight lashes. Might work for you guys with those long, curled lashes. I would say I liked the brush though, but only if you're going for that not-so-defined natural look. I like these kinds of mascaras only in the summer, when you don't really wear a lot of makeup, and are going for a natural, soft look. But all in all this wasn't the mascara for me.
  2. Maxfactor's black False Lash Effect: This one too is a bit too wet for my lashes. But this one's also got that rubber brush that divides the lashes. But this one, compared to the first one gives an impression of falsies. I like my lashes a tad more natural looking. So this one wasn't for me either.
  3. Loréal's blue and white Double Extension: This one gives you a lot more defined lashes than those above. I feel it's a bit clumpy, but if you work a lot with it, it's a really good mascara for heavy eye makeup. Really good for clubbing aso.
  4. Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara: Really loved this one. It might qualify as a favorite atm. Especially now that it's getting colder and darker and you wear heavier makeup. Loved it! Not clumpy and not too subtle.
  5. Maxfactor's gold Masterpiece Mascara: This one is super natural looking, and has been my fateful companion for years, though I only use it in the summer and spring. It's a bit too subtle and natural looking for the autumn and winter. Love it!
